I800a Finally Mailed!

Many of you know that back in August we submitted our application to adopt again. We've been working on our homestudy and other paperwork for the past few months and we were finally able to mail our I800a in today. For those of you not proficient in adoption lingo, this means we are requesting permission from the government to adopt a child from a foreign country. Sometime in the (hopefully) near future we will be issued a fingerprint appointment (because it is apparently important that we be fingerprinted a gazillion times) and then we will wait for our approval. After we receive our approval and get all our documents certified and authenticated we can send everything to China and then wait for our Log In Date (LID). Once we have our LID we are then eligible to get a referral. I have no idea how long that will take. It could be right away or we could have to wait a few months. I'm sure I will constantly be reminding myself that it will all happen in God's timing and that He has the perfect girl for our family. Right now I'm just happy to have one more step of the process completed!
