Finally!

I finally got a call from Libby's cardiologist today, but we still don't know when her surgery will be. He told me that someone should be calling soon to get it on the schedule. He also said that after looking at the MRI results they determined that in addition to the VSD needing to be closed and the right pulmonary artery needing to be widened, the left pulmonary artery would need to be fixed too. It sounds like they may have to create a pathway of some sort. I was taken off guard when he called and wish I would have asked more questions about the surgery, but I'm sure we'll get a chance to discuss everything that will be done with whoever is performing the surgery. We need to make sure she doesn't have any cavities beforehand, so she'll be going to the dentist this Friday which I'm sure won't make her very happy. Fortunately, the dentist is a friend of ours and I know he's very good with kids. I'm sure he'll be patient. I just hope she doesn't bite him!
