Josiahisms

People always say you should write down the funny things your kids say so you won't forget them. I haven't been very good about this so I thought I'd take a minute to preserve some recent Josiah sayings. For some reason Josiah says "huddif" instead of "what if". Gabe is constantly correcting him, but it doesn't seem to matter. Josiah also says "pinkuter" instead of computer. He's recently started saying it correctly sometimes, but I hope he still uses pinkuter once in awhile because it sounds so cute when he says it.

Josiah also said something the other day that I thought was very cute. Jon was going to our local clinic to get a tetanus booster before our trip. As we were driving over Josiah said, "Why do you need a Tetris booster?" I told Jon that a side effect of a Tetris booster is that you try to fit your body into odd shaped spaces.

As long as I'm sharing Josiah stories, I might as well share one of Gabe's too. At some point Gabe heard me refer to something as pitch black. He picked right up on that and everytime he talked about something that was one solid color he'd use the word pitch to describe it. For instance, "This t-shirt is really clean. It's pitch white". I hesitated to correct him because I thought it was so cute, but I finally decided to explain why we only say "pitch" in front of the word black.
